We all are inundated with a lot of work and when we go back home we strongly desire a peaceful and uninterrupted sleep, but for many reasons, we don't achieve it and then the question arises “Why can’t I sleep?”

See, everything is not fixable, but there are things that are under your control.

So, I can’t sleep properly and I want to know why I'm not able to get a peaceful sleep these days. We know all these questions are sabotaging your brain and you are looking out for the right answers.

Let us discuss below:-

One of the biggest root causes can be your eating habits if in the night you are consuming over oily food, then it will make you dehydrate and you will feel like drinking water after every hour and this will break your sleep. Meals that are high in fat and protein take a long time to digest and can keep your body up at night. Try eating a lighter dinner for restful night sleep.

Be as healthy as a horse.

Your lifestyle matters a lot because if your eating habits, sleeping style, and overall lifestyle are not going in the right way, then it surely will sabotage your life. So eat well and consume food which is easily digestible. Do not take any stress, keep it out and sleep like the way you would love to sleep.

We try to rectify everything, but we never focus on the bed that we are sleeping on. So today you will check your bed meticulously, I mean to say, if it has any indentations or it's not comfortable and you wake up with a sore back. Now you can get a variety of mattresses such as Pocket Spring Mattresses, Gel Memory Foam Mattresses, Latex Mattresses and More.  All of them just blends in your sleeping comfort, so the time has come to change your bed and get that 8 hours nonstop sleep that you deserve.

You can ignore this, but its 100 percent true.

Wherever we go we only look for a clean and friendly ambience, then why not your bedroom? So make sure your room is not a mess and crammed with unnecessary things because otherwise, it will be a stress to you. So clean your room, use a bed sheet that makes you sleepy. Change your sheets and pillowcases at least once a week to keep your bed clean so you can sleep well. When you sleep your sheets collect a number of gross things such as sweat, dust mites, dead skin, and bodily fluids. If you don't change your sheets regularly you can develop acne and allergies and your sleep and immune system will suffer.

Light from your phone, laptop, television and more can keep you awake. The bright light from these gadgets is capable of triggering the brain to stop making melatonin- which is a hormone your body naturally produces at night and makes you feel sleepy.  So try to keep your gadgets away and get a more restful sleep.

Might be you are overloaded with your office projects and even in the night thinking about it because office work is your fear and this makes you wayward and block your sleeping. So do not force yourself to think so much.

Solution? Get up and go to another room or any part of your house, this will divert your mind, now you can go back and sleep, this is a well-studied strategy that anyone can use who is facing this overthinking problem.

Ideally, 7-8 hours sleep is must, otherwise, you will suffer from mood swings, depression, headstrong mind and more.

These are no-brainer tips, so no struggle and easily you can get dream sleep that makes your body, mind, and soulfully energetic.
