- Open all packages and identify that you have 2 side rails, 1 head, 1 foot, and a pack of slats.
- Hardware pack will include 12x bolts and 1x Allen Key.
-With 3 bolts hand screw these onto each bracket.
Starting with the foot board, clip the side rail onto the bolts. Note: You may need to unwind the bolts to fit. Once clipped push the rail down to lock. Do this for all corners.
With the Allen Key tighten all bolts.
Place the slats into the spaces.
- Open all packages and identify that you have 2 side rails, 1 head, and a pack of slats.
Hardware pack should include 8x bolts and 1x Allen Key.
Line up parts. Be sure the correct side of the side rails face inwards to receive the slats.
Bring joins together. Your Side rail may have a slight bow. In this case you will need to apply some pressure to bring the two fittings into line.
Fit 2 bolts into each corner of the rail. Sometimes you will need to jiggle them a bit to get them to go in. Tighten with Allen key.
Place the slats into the spaces.
Open up hardware pack, group the same parts together.
There are a lot of pieces so be sure you have everything you need before you start assembling. Keep them tidy.
Firmly but, gently, hammer the dowels all the way into the end of the rails.
Place dowel into holes and the M6 x100mm through the bunk ends and place barrel nut in the holes in the rail. Bring together and hand tighten. Do this on all four corners on both the top and the bottom bunk.
The bunk can be attached with the ladder either end. Decide what end suits and fasten with the M6 x35mm to upright rails.
Fit all the safety rails with Uprights using your M6 x35mm.
Go through and tighten all joinings with your allen key. Do not over tighten.
You should now have two beds that look like this.
Place the slats on bunks pull them out to the staps so that they are taut. Screw them into place firmly but, do not over tighten. If you over tighten the screws will rip out of the timber.
Place wood pin in holes on top of the bottom bunk. Place top bunk on top. You will need another person for this.
Fit ladder steps to ladder rails with the screw holes facing down. Make sure the dowels are as far into the ladder rails as possible. Screw together using pilot holes.
Repeat this process on the other side to complete the ladder.
And finally place the ladder on the bed side rail and screw into place.
